Generally mentioned in reference to shared resources and decentralised computing, P2P is actually a social trend that could change everything about how we access certain goods and services. And though people are still warming up to the idea of ditching the dreaded ‘middle man’, this groundswell of cooperative development has attracted its fair share of both encouragement and opposition. But by remaining DIY at its core, info-sharing and stuff-exchanging will continue to evolve, regardless of the burgeoning resistance from corporate fat cats.
